no social media from 7p-10a
The Nitty Gritty
I've really wanted to work on my blog and have had lots of creative juices about how to rebrand this little space. :) I decided to keep my goals for February pretty simple and focused, and I was able to get most of those things done! If you look at the top of this site, you'll see that I finally added pages to organize my posts and wrote an About Me! The Blog Life course by the ladies of A Beautiful Mess has really helped me make goals and think about what I want this little space to be and just what exactly I want to do with it.

What I Was Grateful for in February
February started off with the Chosen for Life Choosing to Care Conference for foster care and adoption. We've talked about pursuing one or both of those options in the future, and we learned so much. It was truly a powerful weekend and full of so much truth and encouragement to care for the orphans and widows right in our own backyard. Later in the month, we had a super fun Valentine's Day celebration this year. I decided to be grateful for what came my way, and we had so much fun. Rory suggested we do a progressive dinner of sorts, and we ate at three of our favorite Athens spots (The Grill, Trappeze Pub/Highwire Lounge, and Zombie Coffee and Donuts) before going to see Penny and Sparrow in concert. It truly was one of my favorite date nights we've had. I also had my very first podcast interview in February, which was super exciting and a lot of fun. It was fun to do another closet challenge in February as well, and while we didn't have the normal February weather I had anticipated, I mixed and matched all kinds of things from my wardrobe and created some new outfits with items I had long neglected.
