#100happydays

As an avid reader, I follow and read various types of blogs. One of my favorite lifestyle blogs is A Beautiful Mess. Upon reading through their recent posts, I discovered a new project called 100 Happy Days in which participants attempt to capture something happy each day for 100 days. It's a simple thing that can change perspective and is closely aligned with the practice of counting gifts that Ann Voskamp so eloquently describes in One Thousand Gifts.

Here's the crux and purpose of the project:

We live in times when super-busy schedules have become something to boast about. While the speed of life increases, there is less and less time to enjoy the moment that you are in. The ability to appreciate the moment, the environment and yourself in it, is the base for the bridge towards long term happiness of any human being.

71% of people tried to complete this challenge, but failed quoting lack of time as the main reason. These people simply did not have time to be happy. Do you?

So, my friends, my challenge begins today. My platform of choice is Instagram. Are you with me? For the next 100 days, my mission is to look for the happy.

Day 1: Celebrating wedding #4,345 with these two.
