Episode # 41 // Held in His Hands: A Living Faith with Anna Mae Groves

In this week’s episode, I chat with Anna Mae Groves about walking out our faith, even when it doesn’t make sense. Anna is such a beautiful light and shares with transparency about her journey with mental health struggles and how the Lord brought her out of the darkness with one simple habit that changed everything. She also shares with us about faith-filled decisions that helped her to see God as trustworthy, faithful, and true. Her stories encouraged me specifically with some situations I have going on in my personal life right now, and I know the same will be true for you, too.

MEMORABLE QUOTES

Have you gone outside today?

I started to purposely get outside, even for a few minutes, just getting fresh air and a little light on my face. And it drastically changed my outlook. It gave me energy. I just felt so much better.

Even if you go on your front step and like close your eyes, breathe, you know, let the sun or even rain hit your face, get that fresh air. It does something. It's something that I believe God did on purpose, you know, and it helps me.

My mindset and my intention and my motivation is to glorify God.

We all have a ministry…it doesn't matter what you're doing. Every single thing we do can be a ministry, even the parts where we fail and we get back up, like that's ministry as well.

I could dream all I want…I could pray about it all I want, but until I started it, God can't bless it.

I've prayed pretty specific prayers and God has answered them specifically. And I know that that's Him, it's not me.

God answers prayers.

Be obedient and follow Him.
